I needed to read this quote today from Paul Jukes…

What I am going through right now sometimes feels overwhelming. It feels like it’s never going to get better, but I am trying to choose that is not true.

Healing is possible. Complete healing to the point that I can let go of the past and move forward with my life. I am beginning to believe that. I’m telling myself I will get through to the other side and that there is always a way out.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthian 10:13 “There is no temptation that has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will always provide a way of escape that you will be able to endure it.”

Well the temptation for me is to give up, and quit trying, but this quote is similar to this scripture that there is always a way out.

The way out might take time, and won’t happen right away, but if you hold on to the truth that there is always a way out, right there, you are on the path of the way out just by holding on to that truth.

You might not see the light at the end of the tunnel because the tunnel is long, but it will keep you moving forward if you believe that light is there.

That’s what I am having to do. I don’t see the light yet, but I am choosing to believe that it is there.

Do you feel like there is no way out of what you are going through? Are you tempted to throw in the towel? What can you do to change your perspective?

I use affirmations and quotes like these from my gratitude app to remind me that it is not hopeless. Whatever you need to do to remind yourself that it is not hopeless, you should do because it is true, there is always a way out.

Here’s a beautiful quote from my Gratitude app to brighten your day 😇 https://gratefulness.page.link/yqbs
