Looking out at the massive glaciers,
and the sun-bright meadows.
I remember the moment of peace,
a true happiness that glows.
I am the air that the wind blows,
I carry peace that nobody knows.
I am the spirit that frees my soul,
and heals my heart and makes me whole.
The river flows by as do my tears,
remembering this moment, forgetting my fears.
This was only a moment in my heart-breaking past,
but in my memory, the peace will last.
I remember the pine trees that touches my senses,
with roots as deep as are my defenses.
The sweet aroma fills the air.
To forget this memory, I wouldn’t dare.
