Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

If I could create a holiday, I would create a writer’s day celebrating authors of any kind of writing. I don’t think writer’s get enough credit for their dreams or their gifts to society through writing. When I left college to become a full-time writer, and people would ask me how I am doing in school, when I tell them that I left school to become a writer, sometimes I get, “Why would you do that?” as an answer. Sometimes I will get a “that’s great” and they change the subject. Writers don’t get the same respect as other careers.

So, that’s a holiday I would event if I could.
