My favorite candy is a Caramello bar. The crinkle of the wrapper is its own kind of sweetness and excitement for what I’m about to eat. The first bite, with the chocolate and gooey caramel together, is like heaven. I usually eat it while I’m curled up with my dog Barkley, with the kittens in my face trying to sniff the candy while I keep gently pushing them away.
