When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was five, I wasn’t thinking about ‘when I grow up.’ I just wanted to play, have friends, and go on camping trips. Adult life wasn’t on my radar yet — I was busy being a kid.
My big event was my fifth birthday. I wasn’t thinking of a career at all. My birthday party was at a McDonalds with a giant Ronald McDonald statue in front. I remember that party was where a got my first wuzzle~ an eleroo. A plushie that was a cross between an elephant and a kangaroo.
My best friend, Kenny, lived down the street from me and my future consisted of when I could next play with him. I didn’t have dreams of what I would be when I grew up. I was too busy living my 5-year-old life.
