I think what makes a person unique is the mix of things that only belong to them.

It starts with their personal experiences in life, the things they have lived through that nobody else has in exactly the same way.

It also shows up in their personality qualities, the way they naturally respond to people and situations.

A person’s uniqueness comes out in what they care about and what feels most important to them, the causes, people, and beliefs they keep coming back to.

I also think their little quirks and habits matter a lot, the small routines and “only they do it like that” behaviors that make them who they are.

Even their sense of humor is part of it, the specific things that make them laugh and how they share that with other people.

Put together, all of these pieces come together to say, “I am my own person.
