Broken Home
In the shadows of a broken home,
Lies the story of fractured hearts—
The broken family syndrome.
Lives are torn apart.
Once thought repaired,
The scars still remain.
They thought the damage was spared,
Pain leaves a permanent stain.
Happy on the outside,
A childhood of smiles.
Darkness on the inside,
Hearts so hostile.
Siblings by blood, yet so far apart,
Despise each other and hate.
Don’t know how to love from their heart,
Forever, enemies will be their fate.
Through the darkness, can there be hope?
For this broken family to regain,
Peace within and a way to cope,
The opportunity to white out that stain.
