My deepest memories,

I dare to explore.

Decades later in my journey,

I am not keeping secrets anymore.

Seeking truth that was never found,

profound and elusive.

To share those forgotten tales,

Memories that were abusive.

Words that I fear to speak,

are eager to express.

Words that are honest and true,

Secrets that time has failed to suppress.

Each insecurity unravels a lie,

My words need to be said,

They are just as important as yours,

It is the memories that haunt me in my head.
