Your Loving Embrace

Within my confusion and pain,

where my heart bleeds.

Your love fills and surrounds me,

And your grace exceeds.

Your comforting embrace

is soft and gentle.

Your loving arms capture me.

Your kindness is nonjudgmental.

Your all-knowing sight

comforts me to my soul.

It loves me despite who I am,

setting me free and making me whole.

From the judgment of the world,

You set me apart.

You set me free from their condemnation,

and heal my wounded heart.

Healing the aching soul within

with truth and love.

Not the truth of this world,

But the truth is from above.

Help me find rest and healing

within the darkness.

For I was created in your image.

Despite the world’s harshness.
