A Blaze Within

Rage rises like a tidal wave.

My mind nobody can save.

A fire ignited becomes a blaze.

Throwing me into a mental maze.

Burning bright with no containment.

Out of control with no restraint.

A lion’s roar seeks its prey.

Longing to find another way.

It consumes all and finds no peace.

Until it finds a physical release.

Eyes darken as clouds hover over the sky,

Rage erupts with no understanding of why.

I seek calm amidst the storm,

Exhaustion settles as the sun warms.
