Faith-Driven Freedom

In the conflicting messages I receive,

I seek a path that no longer deceives.

Beyond the confinement of creed and rules,

I seek a God that’s pure and true.

Not bound by text, but a love that’s divine.

A branch connected to the vine.

A peace that washes all insecurity,

A love consumed with all purity.

In every breath, I silently pray.

Feeling your presence that stays.

Forgetting the confinement of rigid form,

My soul is free; my heart is reborn.

For within the longing to be set free,

I embrace who I am; I can finally see.

Tremendous love and grace are so freely given.

My belief in Jesus Christ is faith-driven.
