The rainfall of Spring is my tears flowing down my cheeks as winter says goodbye with melting snow, slowly fading like fog lifting in the air. Only winter’s beauty holds many joyful moments of bundling up in front of the fireplace or walking carefully through the snow, throwing playful snowballs with the ones you love. Not yet to say farewell until next year, but my heart is already aching with each final passing day. Seeing the frost on the windows fade away, or feeling brief moments of warmth, getting ready for the coming season. The coolness of winter is like a deep breath of fresh air that I cherish and will anxiously wait for it to return next year. The melting of the snow on rooftops, the visible colors of flowers blooming, and the fresh green grass starting to shine through all bring their sense of joy and sorrow at the same time. Making this transition a welcoming of something new, saying goodbye to precious moments like a brand-new year, with hopes for the future, but memories from what has passed. These final weeks of winter, I prepare myself to let go of what was and welcome what will be.
