Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My ideal day would be realistic, not fantasy. I’d wake up around 8 a.m., take my medications right away, and then eat breakfast: a banana, a piece of toast with peanut butter, and maybe some pineapple.

After that, I’d feed my animals—my dog Barkley and my kittens JJ and Journey—then take a shower and get ready for the day.

Once I was ready, I’d go out for a short bike ride, because I’m learning to ride again and I need to practice in small amounts every day to keep my progress.

When I got home, I’d make another cup of tea, probably lemon ginger or peppermint since they help wake me up without caffeine, and then sit down to do some artwork. Lately that means painting rocks, which takes time because I have to let each layer dry, so a rock can take two or three hours.

While the layers are drying, I’d take a break for a mid-morning snack of Light & Fit Greek yogurt, and then once I’m done with my rock, I’d have lunch—a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

After lunch, I’d make another cup of tea and spend some time writing, usually poetry or working on my chapbook.

Then I’d relax by watching a movie or a TV show before dinner. For dinner I’d have something healthy, like chicken or fish, and that would be it for what I eat that day because I’m trying to stick with healthy habits.

I’d finish my ideal day by just relaxing for the evening, maybe listening to music or watching another movie before bed.
