One of the best gifts I’ve ever received was my car, a brand new Subaru my mom had just bought for herself.

At first I thought she was going to give me her old Subaru, which I would have been totally fine with, so when she told me the new one was actually for me, I felt like I was on cloud nine.

I was shocked and so happy that she trusted me with something that big. I had to get used to the way the car felt and how the screen worked for music and everything, but that didn’t take long.

Pretty quickly it stopped feeling like I was borrowing my mom’s car and started feeling like my car, and that made the gift even more special.
