Who is the fictional character you relate to the most?
When I think about fictional characters I relate to, Spider‑Man comes to mind immediately — not because of the superpowers, but because of the person underneath the mask. Peter Parker’s life before becoming a hero, the bullying, the loneliness, the feeling of being the odd one out, mirrors pieces of my own story. I know what it’s like to be laughed at, mocked, and pushed into believing you’re a loser. I know what it’s like to carry a traumatic experience that shapes how you move through the world.
What resonates most is the mask itself. Spider‑Man hides who he is because he’s terrified of being rejected if people saw the real him. I’ve lived that same fear. I’ve built versions of myself to survive, to blend in, to avoid being hurt again. His character reminds me that even when you feel small or broken, there’s still courage inside you — and that maybe, one day, taking off the mask won’t feel so dangerous.
