I don’t write based on what I think other people want to read. Instead, I write about what I am passionate about and what I enjoy writing. If I tried to shape my work around someone else’s expectations, I don’t think my writing would be nearly as strong. My style, technique, and voice are uniquely my own, and forcing myself into a different approach would feel unnatural and inauthentic.

I write with purpose and passion, often hoping that others will connect with or identify with what I’ve written. At the same time, I also write simply because I love it. Writing brings me joy, and that enjoyment is reason enough to keep doing it. If readers find my voice intriguing and connect with my work, that’s wonderful. If they don’t, it doesn’t stop me from writing. The most important thing is staying true to myself and creating work that feels honest and genuine.
